What we found was while both brands manufacturer primarily in Italy and embrace timeless design, they differ significantly in transparency and communication.
Purpose of the project was to conduct comprehensive comparative analysis of Bottega Veneta and Celine through the lens of importing and exporting within the global fashion industry.
Keywords
Keywords we focused on this case study was quiet luxury, luxury fashion, Brand Identity, omnichannel distribution, ethical sourcing, supply chain transparency.
Project Outcome and Reflection
This project resulted in a strong final grade, reflecting the depth of our research. The effort we put into understanding both brands from a global sourcing and luxury business perspective.
Our team successfully presented a cohesive study that connected design, craftsmanship, international markets, and branding. Working in a group did bring some challenges when coordinating everyone’s research styles, schedules and perspectives.
At times we had different opinions on what information should be prioritized, however we overcame that with establishing clear roles. Finding everyone's strengths and helping each other out when we were having a hard time.
